Plenary speakers

Our motto “Parasites in Crossroads” points the importance of Parasitology and Parasites as a multidisciplinary science and research object, which unifies different scientific fields as human medicine, veterinary medicine, molecular biology, epidemiology and evolution.

The plenary speakers will cover following topics:
  •        Relationship between parasite diversity and host diversity – parasitology / zoology / ecology - prof. Javier Perez-Tris (Complutense University of Madrid, Spain);
  •        Parasites as bioindicators of chemicals in the environment – parasitology / zoology / chemistry - prof. Bernd Sures (Aquatic Ecology, University of Duisburg-Essen, Germany);
  •        Genetic diversity of parasites and its migration – parasitology / molecular biology - Dr. Daniel Ajzenberg (Laboratoire de Parasitologie et de Mycologie, CNR Toxoplasmose / Toxoplasma BRC, Centre Hospitalier-Universitaire Dupuytren, France);
