Abstract submission guidelines
IMPORTANT NOTE: The authors, marked in the submission system as the "presenting author", must register as a participant and pay the participation fee by 5th of May, 2017, otherwise the abstract will be automatically removed from the program.
Participants are invited to submit abstracts to the conference within the scope of the following topics:
- Parasites in domestic and wild animals;
- Human parasites and Zoonosis;
- Epidemiology;
- Molecular tools for parasitological studies;
- Parasite prevention and control.
The abstracts will be presented as oral presentations or as posters. You may mark your preferred mode of presentation on the abstract submission form, but the final decision rests with the Scientific Committee.
Guidelines for oral presentations
Timing of oral presentation: 15 minutes for presentation and 5 minutes for discussion.
Presentation format: PowerPoint (ppt) or PDF format (PC, Windows 7, Microsoft Office 2010, for Mac users PDF format)*.
*Kindly bring your presentation on a USB stick to the lecture room and download it to the computer, on the lunch or coffee break before your session at the latest. Please note that using your own computer is not permitted.
Guidelines for poster presentations:
Size of the poster: vertical A0 paper (84.1 x 118.9 cm, 33.11 x 46.81 inches)*.
*Posters mounting times will be confirmed. Please note that the poster presenter should be by the poster during
afternoon coffee breaks.
Your presentation proposals will be evaluated by Scientific Committee and authors will be informed by 15th May, 2017. All accepted abstracts will be published in the 7th SBSP conference abstract book (on USB).
